Most of the time you will find that these spirits are not confined to one spot, they can move around freely.

Also, they will acknowledge the existence of human beings and even try to communicate in certain ways.

They are somewhat limited in what they can do. Most of the time they only move very light objects but they are really only limited by the amount on energy they can acquire.

They are looking for people to notice them but sometimes they end up scaring people a great deal instead.

It's very easy to misunderstand a spirits intentions.

Usually, spirits/entities can more efficiently manifest themselves at night.

I have found spirits come out to play just after it gets dark and they start to build up energy and around 12:00 am till daybreak they are ready to interact with the living.

Sometimes spirits are not strong enough to show themselves during the daylight because it takes too much energy to make themselves visible.

Plus they don't like bright light especially ultraviolet light and we all know sunlight has ultraviolet rays.

These spirits can be very playful and friendly or mischievous, depending on the reason that they are haunting a location, and there are several reasons.

They may be haunting it because it was once their home and they want you to leave.

They may be there because they've found that either yourself or someone else in the house is able to see them or at lease sense them so they feel noticed and are willing to stay around for this reason.

There may be some kind of artifact that they are staying with and following due to some emotional bond with it.

They also may be looking for something or someone. Maybe a lost love or a child that has passed over and the spirit don't know where that child is.

They may even not be willing to except that they have died.

They may be grounded which means for some reason they cannot leave that place this could be due to a suicide or maybe a curse or even a dramatic event.

Also another stronger spirit or entity may be forcing them to stay.

Whatever the reason may be, they are there and they do not want to leave.

Now comes the hard part, ridding a house of them.

If it's an evil spirit and your faith is strong you can command them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ and never return, say this out loud 3 times and really take charge and they will leave your home and never return.

If your faith is weak you may need to contact someone to help you.

If it's an human spirit or spirits and they feel they have a right to be there maybe you should consider getting to know more about them.

Before you try to get rid of them they may be nice and could even save your life in the case of a fire or other danger, spirits have been known to do that on a number of occasions.
